MAX AND PINKY have painted the barn a nice, classic shade of red. But the next morning—it’s pink! They paint it again, but the very next day it’s plaid! What is going on?!
Hmm—doesn’t that gopher look a little suspicious?

Chandler: The Adventures of Max and Pinky: the Mystery by Maxwell Eaton is hilarious 2 times my weight. The boy Max and the pig Pinky paint a barn but! The barn keeps getting painted a different color. Who keeps doing this? Read the book and catch the painter.
I remember when my barn was getting painted – this didn’t happen.
The book has like three to five year old pictures. The words are probably 6 to 8 year olds. So I think it would be for grade k to 2. |
Malcolm: The Adventures of Max and Pinky: The Mystery is like a TV show. I find It’s like Sponge Bob Square Pants. Patrick isn’t that smart and neither are the animals from the book. They paint the barn red and someone keeps painting the barn a different color. They try to find the animal that is responsible so they put up a trap to catch it. I loved the book it is really funny and the pictures are really good. The book is for about k-5 because it’s really for younger kids. You can read it when you’re in high school, middle school and even when you are an adult it doesn’t matter because it is funny. |
