Samantha: Luke was with his dad at the park. He saw pigeons so Luke chased the pigeons onto the road then right through a big bridge through traffic through someone’s marriage dinner and on a building roof were he feel asleep. The firefighters came to get Luke and gave him to his mother. So the next time he want with his dad his dad put him on a leash so he could not get the pigeons.
I never got put on a leash but my dog has because she runs away.
I like this book because it was funny when he chased the pigeons. You should read it. |
Jonathan: Luke on the Loose written by Harry Bliss is a funny book. This book is about a little boy named Luke. He likes to chase pigeons. One day Luke runs from his dad and goes all through town chasing pigeons. All kinds of crazy things happen. I like Luke because sometimes I like to run and chase like him. I think this book is cool because it is full of surprises! This is a comic book. It has pictures showing what the people are thinking. I think it is for kindergarten to grade 5. |
Jon: Luke on the Loose by Harry Bliss is a hilarious book. Not much talking but still a funny book.
In the book Luke (the kid) chasses these pigeons allover New York.
This story is a lot like my average day because I have 3 younger siblings always trying to chase squirrels and birds and I have to find them.
I like it for its pictures and the humor because the way they just put the book is so funny
I think this book is for K – 5 students but every one can enjoy it. |
Ben: One time I was at Wal-Mart and my mom thought I was behind her in the toy aisle, but I wasn’t. I got lost and someone had to call mom on the pager and she found me, and she didn’t feel that good about it.
In Luke on the Loose, Luke gets lost on purpose. Luke runs around the roads on the sidewalks and bridges and after pigeons. This is why I think it is funny.
I think this book is for k to 3 for the easy words and it is funny. |
