Zack: The shy kid would have told a story if she was not so shy. But she did it in her head instead. Shy Creatures is about a shy kid that wants to help shy creatures like the Big Foot, Abominable Snowman, Cyclops, Phoenix, Aliens, etc. 

I like this book because sometimes I feel as shy as her. I think this book is for everyone especially little kids. I love this story. If you have it at school or at home or even have a chance to buy it, get it!!!!!!!

Brandon: There was a shy girl and all of her friends made fun of her. She wanted to help sad creatures. The girl imagines that all of creatures become good friends with her and all of the creatures laugh with her while all of her friends laugh at her.

 David Mack, if you read this review I love your book Shy Creatures, it is hilarious. Everybody out there should buy the book Shy Creatures.

I think this book is for 6 to 13 year olds.

Amanda: The girl in the book Shy Creatures by David Mack is very, very shy. She thinks good and funny stuff about what she wants to be. She wants to be a doctor for the shy creatures.

Some of the creatures in the book are Bigfoot, The Loch Ness monster, Unicorn, Dragon, phoenix and Pegasus.

This book is like a poem and it’s a little like Doctor Seuss.

 The thing I like in this book is the art. It is really really cool the way he draws.  And my favorite creature is Pegasus because I like her because it is horse with wings and I really like horses.     

I think this book is for grades 2,3,4 and 5 because it has some difficult words in it.

Breanna: This book is new and it is by David Mack. The book is called The Shy Creatures and it is funny, silly and cool. This book is about a girl that is very shy and all her pets are shy too. When she goes to school her teacher asks the class what they want to be when they grow up. The girl was to shy to say she wanted to be a Shy Creature doctor. This is what she would have said it if she was not so shy,” I will help all the shy animals like big foot, unicorn, Pegasus, and Cyclops.”

I used to be shy when I was little and I am still a little bit. I recommend this book for grade 2 and grade 3 because it has some hard words and they are hard to sound out too.

I like the art because it is a silly and the words rhyme a little.     

Emma: I like this book because it is funny and it has mythical creatures in it.      

When I was little I used to be shy but now that I’m older I’m not so shy. In this book there is a girl and  she’s very shy. At school the teacher asks the girl what she wants to be when she grows up, but if you want to know what she says or if she even says anything at all you’ll have to read the book.

            I think this book is for a grade two and up because there are some hard words in the book.
