In 1942, William Hoar cut a tree over 80 feet tall on his Hebron property. Five logs were cut from the tree but J.A. Cleveland's truck could only haul three of them. Men standing on the gigantic logs are Henry Collier, Lester Dixon and William Hoar.

After the five logs were cut from the 80 foot tree, the logs were hauled out on sleds by horses by Turner Brook. The logs were then pulled by ropes and horses onto the truck  to be taken to J.A. Cleveland's mill in Alma.
