Historic photo of Lower Corner at Albert, formerly known as Hopewell Corner before name was changed. 

Albert lower corner today. Baptist church escaped fire of  1905   that destroyed all buildings at corner.

Albert Drug Store of years ago. Perhaps the horse and decorated buggy were taking part in a parade or special event.

Pharmacy on King Street today, but not on same location as in "olden" days.

The "Bank of New Brunswick" was moved from Water Street to Albert corner. It later became the Bank of Nova Scotia serving the area until it ceased to be a bank. It was again moved... this time across the street where it stands today.

Today the former "bank" is a heritage museum where tourists visit during the summer and learn of our area's history.

The "Farmer's Store" was like a co-operative. The farmers could bring their produce and meat to sell from this store.

The Morrissey Grocery operated until its recent closure in December 2003.

The McClelan Memorial Hospital which was on Main Street in Riverside.

Present day McClelan Park where stands the Remembrance Memorial to honour all members of the community who served their country in the armed forces.

Covered bridge always called "Harvey Bridge" which once spanned the Shepody River on Route 915 from Albert to Harvey.
